We are excited to announce that Playlist for Life has been selected as The Westerton Male Voice Choir’s chosen charity – a perfect harmony for supporting people living with dementia with meaningful music.
And tickets for their popular Christmas concerts are on sale now.
About the Westerton Male Voice Choir:
Boasting over 60 members, the choir regularly performs to thousands throughout the season in venues from the far North of Scotland in Elgin Town Hall to the South West of England in Truro Cathedral.
In recent years WMVC have embarked on their own nationwide tours, sang in local care homes, streamed their concerts live across the globe and performed at festivals.
Each season they support a chosen charity, and we’re delighted that Playlist for Life is the 2024/25 charity.
Watch the short video below to hear David explain why the choir are proud to support Playlist for Life:
The choir recently joined The Bluebells, plus two other choirs to support our National Playlist Day campaign.
In Glasgow’s famous Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, they sang the iconic hit ‘Young at Heart’.
This festive season, the choir will perform three special ‘At the Movies’ themed concerts in support of Playlist for Life on Friday 13th December (evening) and Saturday 14th December (matinee and evening).
